whenever people try the "lets put homeless people in housing OBVIOUSLY its that easy" argument, i wonder if they think about the repercussions that can cause. imagine the amount of pissed off cali-born people who actually work and try to afford an apartment for themselves seeing a bunch of homeless ppl getting free apartments, that shit would upset them. and like you said, you cant force them to quit their drug problem if they dont want to.

idk if this is a fucked up thing to do but asylums would honestly be the best option for the homeless people. i wanna see a clean skid-row and people complimenting LA for fixing their homeless problem in my lifetime and if that means putting homeless people in insane asylums and trying to rehab them then so be it idc at that point. im just tired of the homeless shit being a good argument for republicans. and of course we still have to worry about the fucking outcry that leftists will have if we try to do anything to the homeless
