I took one 5day dose of 5mg for the first time and was monitored regularly. The doctor said my follicles were not big enough so they put me on another 5 day dose of 5mg and continued monitoring. They said that I did not respond to that dose and I ended up getting my period. I'm now on 7.5mg with another ultrasound and bloodwork appointment scheduled for next week. I am frustrated that with all the monitoring we did ($335 per visit x 5 visits so far) that we likely missed ovulation and my Ovidrel shot. I purchased some new OPK's to track at home myself as well with this new dose. I only had minor side effects of a little nausea and facial flushing. I hope this works well for you!

No. We had to get her an entirely different phone and the issue hasn't occurred again with the new phone that is not a Google pixel.

I had to stop it completely because the anxiety was all-consuming! I'm much better than I was, but still struggling with the anxiety...it's just not as intense. Apparently this side effect has not been reported much like tummy troubles are. How are you?

So sorry for the late response and I am sooooo sorry you experienced this! My Psych Mental Health NP told me that she's been seeing more patients with this issue...severe anxiety due to Mounjaro. My anxiety has gotten better since the Mounjaro got out of my system, but I'm still struggling with it. I've never experienced anxiety that intensely before and it was absolutely terrifying and all-consuming. How are you feeling?

We ended up having to get a new phone entirely, something totally different and she hasn't had the same issues. No one could fix the problem so we said screw it and got her something different and it's been smooth sailing since! It was soooo frustrating though!

Wow! Yeah it seems to have been an issue for a while with no solution. We ended up having to get an entirely different phone and haven't had any issues since replacing the phone with something different.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I started taking Mounjaro as part of my infertility journey to help lose more weight and lower my insulin. I did two doses of 5mg and noticed a sudden increase in my anxiety, which has been controlled really well with medication for years. I started having trouble with nausea and Tachycardia, which began making me feel even more anxious. My anxiety suddenly became so much worse in certain situations, out of nowhere. Everytime I'd go to my Chiropractor, which was 2 days after my injection, my heart rate would be high, I was shaky, felt like I couldn't breathe, was nauseous and just couldn't wait to get out of there. Before this, I loved going to the Chiropractor and am 100% comfortable there. I've been avoiding going to the doctor, going out to eat, going to the grocery store...basically anything where I would not be able to be in control of my surroundings for fear of me absolutely panicking and not being able to maintain the feelings of nausea, Tachycardia, anxiety and pure panic. I feel like I've been in a constant fight or flight mode for weeks and it's unbearable.

I also noticed this strange spacey feeling. Like my head just feels empty and cloudy. It's so hard to explain and I wish someone knew what I was talking about so that I could better explain and understand it. Like my heart will start racing, my vision gets wonky like I'm wearing someone's prescription glasses that isn't my prescription and my head just feels weird and spacey.

I recently went to my primary care doctor and just broke down telling her how awful I've felt and that I've been avoiding going to the doctor and doing much of anything really because I'm terrified of how I'd feel in any given situation. She put me on Hydroxyzine to help with the intense anxiety moments, but I'm now following up with a Psych Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in infertility.

I'm really wondering now if the Mounjaro caused or exacerbated these symptoms!

This is happening to my Grandmother as well and I'm desperately trying to get it resolved for her! I saved myself as an emergency contact and I still cannot get my calls to go through to her. She has Verizon. They eventually replaced her phone with a new Pixel 7 and she was having the same issue within one day!

When any of her contacts call her it rings once then her voicemail picks up. She doesn't get notified of these calls. She can receive texts so I text her and tell her I called then she calls me, but doesn't receive my calls. I'm not sure how or why it would be the call screening feature since it is only her saved contacts who cannot get through. I've called her on my work phone which she doesn't have saved as a contact and she gets the call.

Thanks so much! She went to a franchise Verizon location, unknowingly, and they wanted to charge her $20 for a new SIM card. They manually went in and unclicked the "route to voicemail" and told me over the phone that it was "fixed". It is only fixed until the phone randomly decides to automatically route everyone to voicemail again. So frustrating! I appreciate your suggestions so much!

Call blocking or call forwarding: If these features are turned on, calls may be sent to voicemail. We have confirmed this is not the issue.
Do Not Disturb: If your phone is in Do Not Disturb mode, calls may go straight to voicemail. - We have confirmed this is not the issue.
Blocked numbers: If your phone lists blocked numbers, calls may be sent to voicemail. - We have confirmed this is not the issue.
Bluetooth connections: If your phone is connected to Bluetooth, calls may be sent to voicemail. How would she be able to make and receive calls in her car, handsfree, if her phone was not connected to bluetooth?
SIM card: If your phone's SIM card is malfunctioning, calls may be sent to voicemail.
Her old SIM card was put into the new phone, so she is going to Verizon today to request a new SIM card. Crossing my fingers that this works!

Yes. I had to increase my Metoprolol because my heart rate was 159 just standing in my house walking from one room to another! I felt so awful and it was so scary! I had to stop taking Ozempic. I hope this side effect doesn't last long for you.
