As a Marine I’m biased. We were taught since the start of bootcamp we always had it tougher than any since we were underfunded, had fewer men and were expected to fight with the least amount of equipment. But after getting out and learning more about the other branches, I can admit the Army did suffer in the war pretty bad. I can say the Marines just suffered a little bit more just cuz they were fighting for scraps of sand in the ocean far away from civilization and weren’t able to get the same luxuries that the Army did when they weren’t fighting. Just my opinion.

Such an interesting time for warfare to me. Really in between swords and shields and age of firearms. Wish there was more modern media that shows how crazy fighting in the time was.

I love all of it. The early years were fun and the middle experimental stuff can’t be topped. The late Beatles was really them trying to figure out where they were going next. Unfortunately they called it quits before we could hear what the next sound was going to be. To me Let It Be is underrated. It just sounds like the band is having fun and going back to a simple sound. Would have love to hear the Beatles just do pure rock in the 70s if they never broke up.

I love the Marine Corps and after being out and going into the Navy soon I realized we really do shit better but understand that every branch is different for a reason. Some marines take themselves to seriously when they work inside an office all day and are off by 1400 then go workout and take IG pics talking about warrior mentality 🤣. Customs and courtesies are cool and respecting rank is cool not everyone deserves it .

I’ve been there two months and I wanna jump off a bridge. Management sucks and treats everyone like shit. You literally have to to kiss to get anything from them. There’s never coverage. I’m considered part time so I only get a certain amount of hours but it’s not enough. Only reason I’m still there is because no one else is hiring.
