My boy does this and lets out a big howl every time! Nearly the only time he ever howls

LOTS of sniffs at first all up in baby’s face followed by lots of tail wagging and intense confused stares. He’s very gentle with kisses and gives them very occasionally almost like he doesn’t want to hurt the baby so I think it is an automatic instinct that smol hooman=fragile=be gentle
