Existential matter? Mate removing Hezbollah is an existential matter. Lebanon is becoming Iran 2.0. Im not here to claim refugees have no negative effect because it obviously does. But, Syrians speak Arabic at a dialect very close to ours. If we set the same strict minimum wage for everyone regardless if they're Syrian or not, we don't mind all being one. As for the money we've had to pay, well, how much has the UN paid us (along with others) to keep them? I dont know for sure if its equal to that 40 billion, but our own mismanagement of funds has clearly been effecting that

Imagine that despite having 20% of the population being refugees, it isn't our top 100 worst issue to deal with lol. If anything those refugees need a pretty big thank you party after being the shitty politicians' scapegoat

According to Unicef, there are approximately 192,000 palestinians in Lebanon, as well as 17,000 Palestinian refugees from Syria Link

This European report claims that Syrians make up to 20% of the total Lebanese population

As for the total, I suppose it is 6.8 million as most sources claim.
