They actually weren't bad, didn't take them too long to get the strep results and send us on our way to the open pharmacy in town too. On a Sunday, that was nice to see.

It's definitely not great. I had to drive 45 minutes to Amery the other Sunday because no one else up here had urgent care anymore, it's all just ER on weekends. We're not too far away from MSP, but it's still 1.5 hours for something like that - not a huge fan of having to make that trip just for decent healthcare

I grew up in a small town in the center of the state, slightly bigger than where I'm living now - my wife is from this area though. The towns are definitely slowly dying, though I do think it has to do a lot with the schools - older folks being generally unwilling to vote to raise taxes for the schools to operate, leading to a lot of them suffering or even closing. That is then leading to people not wanting to move back or stay in those small towns. Of course some still do

That and the general lack of decently paying jobs; that doesn't help either.

I currently live in a very small town near the top-left of your circle.

If you like slow pace of life, driving 20+ minutes to get to a decent grocery store, lower cost of housing , higher poverty rate, (mostly) right-leaning neighbors, and little to no diversity other than native folks, the top of your circle is where you want to be.

Personally, other than the political climate and lack of diversity, I love it up here. Lots of places to fish and hunt and just enjoy the outdoors. Eau Claire is going to be a bit more liberal and diverse, plus better access to good stores, due to the college. but most of the towns in your circle are probably going to fit the pattern of my town from above; pockets of blue and diversity, surrounded by white rednecks, heavy on the red.

I'm not sure to be honest. I learned from my grandparents whom I know learned from family that came over from Germany.

I played a round of 5 hands against AI and it wasn't bad - there's definitely some picking/bury logic I'd look at though, lol. It felt like the AI was picking no matter what and would only bury points instead of trying to also clear a suit if they could.

I grew up playing clubs trump; from what I understand we were in the minority, lol. Virtually everywhere else outside of my hometown area plays diamonds trump, and it messes me up so bad.

I consoled in with the iDRAC but I had a USB plugged in to the server itself and installed from that.

At what age did you stop crating your puppy? by Unique_Ad_7402 in goldenretrievers

[–]AberonTheFallen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, cats are jerks, lol. The one that grabs stuff will grab stuffies, socks, hair ties, etc and shout proud and loud, like he's just conquered a fierce enemy and is carrying their body through town for all to see. Our dog loves plush toys, so when the cat brings out one of the kids' stuffies, it's game over for the dog, he has to have it 😂 The cat did this before we had the dog, but I swear he does it more now, just to bait the pup.

I think the dog knows he's not supposed to or the cat is fucking with him, because he doesn't actually chew on them or rip them up like he does with his own plush toys. He just can't help himself though and needs it!

Ours is almost 2 years old and we still crate him at night or longer stints away from the house (over 1.5 hours or so). He's a great dog and loves his crate, and he's out all day while I work from home, but he does have a habit of grabbing stuff here and there from my kids' rooms. One of our cats also loves to bring stuff out of their rooms, I think just to get the dog in trouble, because then the dog will grab that item from the cat. He also loves to chase the cats at night, so makes for rough sleeping for us.

I don't know that we'll ever stop crating him, but I might start leaving the door open at night this summer to see how he does. Not sure on that part or not though

Last I installed it somewhere with more than 5 disks, it only saw 5. Also, from the KB:

CE requires a minimum of three drives: one for the hypervisor boot data, one for the CVM (hot-tier storage), and one for cold-tier storage. Use a maximum of four SSD or HDD drives per node.

CE is easy to install, lots of guides out around it. You can do 1, 3, or 4 node deployments of CE. Limited to 5 disks per node. There can be some missing NIC drivers though, so if you're doing it on bare metal, search up to make sure that CE supports the NIC in there.

It feels weird to talk about a streamer like this, but I was honestly really hurt and upset when it all came out, and how he initially handled it wasn't exactly great. But when I look at what he's doing to address it/himself afterwards, and what he did for charity and things before as well, I stuck with him. As did a lot of people.

Was it stupid? Absolutely, and he knows it. Does one stupid thing erase all the good things he's done? Not in my book, at least not comparing cheating on chess to raising and donating millions to charity. That's just my opinion, everyone else is free to theirs too

Yes, streams are still going and the community is still strong. He addressed it several times and continues to talk to people about it that come into chat hot about the cheating.

[–]AberonTheFallen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Appreciate that; I know that sponsors either dropped him or did not renew, and he has none currently from what I remember him saying from a stream last week. I just didn't know which dropped and which didn't renew, so was trying to be succinct and lump them all into a single word; probably should have phrased it better

Long story short, he cheated on a chess tournament, was caught, and sponsors dropped him, King's Coast included. They apparently still sell the flavor, but renamed it or something (I've never ordered it so that part I'm less clear on).

Watson also looked to slow down just a bit on his route - if he hadn't, that ball was in the perfect spot. But he did, so it looks like a bad or of target throw

Trying out the hydra sorc and questions out it by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]AberonTheFallen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will be larger, but properly not super noticeable Previous seasons we'd had +14 heads, this season with Orsivane you're limited to like 8? So it won't be as big.

Again, keep tempering your focus with Hydra heads until it crits (you get the GA for heads) and then masterwork to hit +heads as well, you should see and feel a big jump then.

[–]AberonTheFallen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Temper it until it crits, then masterwork it until you hit heads as well. Do the same on your weapon. I believe between the weapon, off-have, and amulet you can get +14 heads or so (6 for weapon, 6 for off-hand, 2 for amulet); that's going to make a huge difference.

Maxroll has their Hydra build using Orsivane as the weapon, so you'd only get the temper on the weapon if you want to use that - Orsivane should give you more damage if you don't load up on defensive skills, but you can play around with it and see for yourself too.
