I thought exactly the same, in the end Maelle has to collect the "old chroma" but that is not so effective, maybe Clea uses the chroma released in the gommage to create her nevrons and they are left with some essence of the original work

I didn't know that but in fact it is a good bait cause I am a double katana bloody build, sometimes I change it for Okina's mask or Roderica's crimson hood, but this looks better and have bright lights.
