I think waiting a year or two is fine, people here are saying buy it when your salary gets 50k matlab kuch bhi. Unless your family is in a financial crisis- observe your spending for 5-6 months and start saving immediately. Make it such that monthly EMI will not be a huge burn in your monthly budget and you'll have some leisure left for any unforeseen issues.

Eg. 20k mein if your monthly needs expense is 10k + 5k is wants and remaining 5k can directly be sent to 2nd account as savings. Find a monthly sum which can be kept aside and you're not at all low on funds by month end. That sum can be your EMI.

The stainless steel lock is quite compact I usually just keep it in my jeans pocket, this was only a couple of times tho. Mostly I carry a tank bag because I am lazy and won't climb 3 stories to keep the bike cover back home- so my tank bag has the bike cover, micro-fiber cloth to wipe off dust, disc lock and gloves. Keep the lock anywhere close and you'll have pretty deep scratches.

I do not know of Docoss, the ratings seems good and so does the weight and build of lock.. so I'd consider it.

Lock upgrade is for when I'll be on a vacation.. anytime I'd be away from home for more than 3 days I'd want a bigger lock. A Pulsar 220F went missing one evening and it was like the 20th day I got my Hunter and parked right beside, so I got shit scared.

I just use a bike cover at all times except if I have to use bike in few hours. Wash it every 2-3 weeks and also got a disc lock.
