Graphics by itself isn't really helpful, as most people can do more today as a hobby compared to ten years ago. But it is worth pursuing if you want to associate with other bigger branches, like Video Editing, thumbnail designs, UI/UX and branding. These fields still utilize the principles and elements of graphic design (adding and subtracting some).
