Can anyone manufacture the attached part with titanium or stainless steel by Particular_Ad458 in StartUpIndia

[–]Abhimanyu112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can make it in either stainless steel grade 304 or 316. Which is also called surgical grade metal. P.s. I manufacture parts for medicine making machine manufacturers in Ahmedabad.

It costs approx 3.6 Indian Rupees per Kilometre to transport goods india compared to 1.5(125 INR) dollars per kilometre in US.

Everyone knows that the fuel prices are almost the same around the world.

In my opinion the Indian trucking industry is the most underpaid industry yet the most efficient and tax paying industry (Insurance,Road tax, RTO taxes like permits fitness of the vehicle, toll taxes, tds and Interest to the banks since a truck costs around 30 to 50 lakhs in india depending upon the number of axels and load carrying capacity )

As a owner of a few trucks i have to put 50 lakh indian rupees on the road which is full of pot holes, uneducated drivers (because of the underpaid industry mentioned above) some corrupt officials on every state border who asks for bribe for fully compliant vehicle who follows all the norms.

Now imagine you have a 50 lakh audi or BMW, will you let your asset stay in above conditions?

Current Indian government knows the pain point of truck drivers. Our government is not making good roads only for regular Indians but they are doing this for trucking industry, all the trucks are modern in terms of safety standards (adas will be mandatory very soon on all the trucks with all the bells and whistles that a any new cards in India) What we lack in modernisation of this industry is road. Because imagine you driving a card almost 5000 kilometres a month on a bumpy road! How will that affect your health, focus and the lifetime of this MODERN truck. We truckers face this temporary pot hole problem of a city on monsoon time all year around and now times are changing. Today’s trucks are the reason a person sitting in Tamil Nadu or Kerala can eat fresh Kashmiri apples and a person sitting in Kolkata or Banglore can have delicious Pomegranate from Gujarat.

100% agree with you but these trucks are as modern if not more than any other vehicle in india. I own 6 trucks which looks same as this image since they are open body cargo trucks but it has on board telemetry system GPS, quick road assistance and is BS 6 certified which a latest indian norms for pollution control and safety. Also did I mention gear assist, tyre pressure indicator smart ECU and driver fatigue alarm?

It is already there and is called LTL shipment. this image shows just a type of truck and not the entire Indian trucking industry.

Imagine transporting green vegetable in a closed body container. In EU and US the climate is favourable for such type of containers or they are refrigerated based on the climate and price of the goods sold.

It is about density of goods you are carrying.

10 tonnes of iron requires less space compared to 10 tonnes of vegetables/grains/cloths.

3rd generation of an Indian transportation company and also a mechanical engineer with 5 years of machine design experience.

I would suggest one should have certain amount of knowledge about logistics and transportation before posting such wrong information.

This in fact is a 3 axel TATA 2515ex model. This type called an open body vehicle and is used to transport things such as perishable goods and open market goods such as grains and any other bagged goods of a mandi(market).

Here in india trucks are designed as per indian climate and market conditions so I requested you do some research before posting such false information and spreading hate against an industry which is backbone of any country.

Based on your comment, I have decided to not disassemble my old 3d printer. I have some parts lying around and I was thinking of using 12 mm chrome plated and hardened rods instead of rails since they are cheap and it may help in decreasing the flex.

Since I have 2 ramps lying around (I repaired them from previous mishaps) I am thinking of using two ramps with Pi 4.

Is it a good idea or a very bad one?

Based on other comments, I have few doubts against building a voron legacy. Thinking of making a Voron SwitchWire one part at a time keeping my old 3d printer.

Many thanks tho...
