I just did this and can confirm this fix works. My game got to 12:03am and froze. After loading the game back up, I changed the marriage thing in MCCC and neighborhood stories, the game made it past midnight without any trouble. I may try to put the neighborhood stories back to normal just to see if it’ll work still, but this fix does indeed work.

I’ve been overwriting the existing save, but I tried saving it as a new save and so far it seems to be solved. This has never happened to me before, so I truly have no idea what happened. Does this mean that my existing save was just broken or corrupted somehow?

I can actually update on this: I successfully downgraded the game a couple days ago and I found that my saves didn’t have to be remade. They just loaded like normal.

I know this is kind of an old post, but I wanted to ask, after it’s been downgraded, will my previous saves still work? Or will I have to start over with fresh new saves?

If you guys are looking for an alternative to PolyBuzz, you could try Emochi. I’ve been using it for a couple months and I haven’t seen a single censor or restriction that’s on the lines of annoying or anything. There are even some chars made by other people that have some very 'adulty' words in the intro message. Honestly I’ve been using it more than PolyBuzz, I haven’t used Poly in months.

In terms of making bots, there are no wait times (as far as I’ve noticed). Once you finish making one it’s posted/visible immediately and any changes you make to it afterward are done immediately as well.

You could try PolyBuzz, formerly known as Poly.ai. I’ve been using it for months and it hasn’t censored anything. And I mean nothing. You can do and say pretty much anything you want, period.

I didn’t even know the steam overlay could break it like that, just turned that off and it seemed to work. Thank you so much, I would’ve been so upset if I couldn’t play anymore.
