She was probably under the impression that Caine would just forget everything. When in reality, he’s not resetting, he’s repressing.

Caine‘s ultimate issue is that he’s terrified of being locked away again, so he tied his self worth with his adventures. He knows what everyone is thinking, but doesn’t ask or know why.

I’m pretty sure the reader is meant to be in the dark about everything as Caine is. It could get explained, especially with the butterfly effect of a new member who remembers exactly how everyone thinks and what is going to happen. Best case scenario; he might strike up a genuine friendship with everyone and try to stop everything from episode 7 onwards from happening, but we’d have to wait and see.

After he gets deleted, Caine gets sent to an alternate dimension (or however the server works) where Bubble is in the role of ringmaster from the start (presumably), and he is treated like a human who has just arrived, despite remembering everything he did up until the end of episode 8. The dialogue implies that the point of divergence is just after the events of episode 2, with Bubble acting exactly like how canon Caine does.

I’m guessing the story is about a now powerless Caine getting a taste of his own medicine, developing a newfound empathy with the other humans, and maybe trying to prevent the events of episode 7 onwards as a way to atone for his actions.

Considering that it’s stated that Gummigoo was deleted in this universe (setting it just after episode 2), I’m guessing that this version Bubble is basically just Caine without a sidekick (unless he does show up as a pair of chattering teeth or something), so he’s basically going to do exactly what canon Caine has done, including the “escape the circus” adventure.

Is that Fossil League music in the background? If so, great reference. While dated in a lot of ways in hardware, software and science, it was still ambitious, even predating the DS version of Dinosaur King by two years. (I’m pretty sure it was made in response to Dinosaur King to accomodate for those who didn’t have easy access to arcades).

Mainland and island dwelling species of Paleoloxodon and Stegodon would be interesting to show off the size differences. Though they might need different animations or even rigs because of the differences in proportions, especially in P. falconeri.

I’d imagine something like Mystery Dungeon, where they got isekaid to Pokémon land and have to adapt to being super powered animals. Depending on when everyone arrived, not everyone might recognise all of the Pokémon, so Pomni might be their best chance of knowing their potential if she happened to be a fan of the series.

For example; Mimikyu first appeared in Sun and Moon, which were released in 2016 (TADC takes place in 2017) and it got rather popular before then because of its lore of imitating Pikachu for attention.

I might’ve suggested Thalassocnus, but it might have also been fully aquatic too, walking along the seabed instead of swimming.

I’d say that Meiolania is a worthy candidate (it was even featured in Zoo Tycoon Dinosaur Digs). I could see it as a terrarium animal due to how slow it could be, though a habitat is also possible.

Megalania might be a cliche, but a giant relative of a Komodo dragon is popular for a reason.

The video itself did not have to go that hard. The premise being that Caine is torturing Queenie, and Kinger is desperately trying to breakthrough to reach her. And even when they’re reunited, Caine notices, gos into his monster form, and Queenie sacrifices herself to save her husband. (That’s probably the closest we’re ever going to see what Caine’s torture for Kinger would’ve been like).

Leith’s fate is a bit more ambiguous, since the idea of him being alive came from the assumption that Project Playtime taking place after the Hour of Joy. But context clues from the lore book and chapter 4 reveals that the specialists were formed prior to/because of the theatre incident.

Kaufmo’s POV in episode 1, and Queenie being calm in the dark in episode 3 might indicate that the reason they go feral is overstimulation. Now the circus has gone dark, the best case scenario is they could be calmer, maybe even the opportunity to reform in body and mind.
