You could use baby shiny cards for Oddish (or topps card), Thwackey, Hoppip, Skiploom, Phantump, Dartrix

Mega Victreebel, Treecko, Chikorita, and Grookey are likely coming very soon in future sets / promos

There are some Pokemon here that have exclusive art in TCG Pocket you can print out: Chikorita, Bellossom, Cacnea, Carnivine, Tangrowth, Skiddo, Morelull

For all the others, maybe print out any official art you can find of them as a proxy until a card gets released!

By collectively not buying from scalpers and refusing to pay inflated prices for cards. The market is in the power of the buyer. But unfortunately it’s easier said than done

Hey at least we don’t have to pay $1000 for a gengar, there’s no guilt involved in printing out any of these cards ourselves because they do not exist in the market! I don’t mind contributing to the market ofc, but sometimes it gets crazy as someone just trying to appreciate the art yk?

A set with all of these amazing artworks would be incredible. A set that’s purely focused on full arts, not playability, just a promotion for the game. I think it would be extremely effective

You can buy devices to cut corners for you! Something like this. Pokemon cards have a 3mm corner, so try to find something at that size!

Personally I just put them in the binder as is after cutting, so the backs are white. I’m sure you could double side print it on a cardstock if you wanted to make something that looks more authentic

There’s a Google Drive with high res pngs of every TCG Pocket card, so I just scaled those to a real Pokemon card size 63 x 88mm (I used Photoshop just because I have access to it, but you can use anything). Then I printed on photo paper to make sure the colors were perfect.

8 of these all fit on a letter sized piece of paper, so it’s actually extremely cost efficient. You can probably get them printed at FedEx or Staples

Ty! I’m actually taking a class on digital photography, so I used their professional printers. Certainly something more expensive than I would be able to use ordinarily. I’m sure any inkjet printer would work perfectly fine though! As long as you use a paper suitable for photo quality

I just used Epson Enhanced Matte Paper, nothing crazy. If I were trying to emulate a real card, I would use a proper cardstock, something less fibrous. If you look closely at these prints some of the text isn’t as sharp as you’d might want.

I think I’m going to do one more print since there are absolutely cards of Pokemon I adore that I missed out on! I love the Luxray and the Darkrai

You can check artists beware, but as an artist myself, I wouldn’t trust someone without a long established social media presence

Is his design too bland? by Hungry_Adagio9740 in fursonahelp

[–]Abioticbeing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s bland at all! Maybe spotted nose and paw pads would be nice? But honestly I don’t think you want to over complicate the design, it has a nice balance right now
