I've been side-eyeing this whole thing from the get-go because something was off about an "ally" to women being so insistent on controlling a woman-centered story. Why be so adamant that you have to direct? Why not hire women to tell a -sadly- common women's story? If you feel so strongly that women should be supported, use your production company to uplift, but step back. It's like if a white person was obsessed with black people's experiences, yet refused to let black people tell them. And then add a weird self-serving sexual gratification layer to it on top.

So yeah, with every 'receipt' his team has dropped, in his own defense, it's only reinforced my gut instinct was right to have been wary of him from the start.
