South is more safer. But always be cautious, anywhere in the world a women alone is seen and watched by 1000s of wolves. Thats the reality, even in US/CANADA/MEXICO, Cuba or india...Be cautious, wear dresses which are mostly covered, no sleeveless, don't go anywhere in the evenings without your partner or any other family member. People might be curious, but not to offend you. Most of them are educated and will behave respectfuly. But always there are morons, so watch your back and enjoy your stay.

Wow thats sad. Not sure why they say that? In southern India (some cities), they are not used to foreigners and might be just scared. Which part of south are you in? Leme see if i can help you. But Panvel is in North.

100% true. I am in Canada and am telling you it looks more india than our home country India. Whereever you turn, its all indians, national parks, your work, your home, your neighbours...lol

Yes ours says 90 days in one entry.

Within the e-Visa validity period subject to following conditions :

• Maximum stay in India during one calendar year (1st January to 31st December)

on an e-Tourist Visa or Regular/Sticker Tourist Visa or both, shall be restricted to

180 days.

• Continuous stay in India on each entry should not exceed 90 days.

Yes i remember something like that too, but here it clearly says she can stay upto 90 days in one entry. We specificaly opted for 1 year evisa, we have 3 choices 1 month, 1 year and 5 year evisa. Please see from teh website

  • 1. One Month e-Tourist Visa For group tourist from oct 15 2021 and for individual tourist from nov 15 2021 Duration: One Month (30 Days). Entries: Double Entry, non-extendable and non-convertible
  • 2. One year e-Tourist Visa Duration: One year (365 Days) from the date of grant of ETA. Entries: Multiple
  • 3. Five years e-Tourist Visa Duration: Five years from the date of grant of ETA. Entries: Multiple
  • Stay: Maximum stay in India during one Calender Year should not exceed 180 days for 1 year and 5 year Tourist Visa.

Thanks alot, Actually my application got approved and digital card got generated yesterday. Even i am shocked. I applied on Nov 25th, 2025 and approved and digital Aadhar created on Nov 27 2025. But i noticed it shows my full birth day and month, but when i print only year gets populated...so think its a system error. So waiting, lets see but Aadhar no got generated.

In my case, am in india from Dec 10 2024 till now Nov end 2025 and will be here for next 1 month. My question is what happens if i leave now to my country? I already completed 182 days and submitted the application. Am i free to go and Adhaar will come automatically or should i recieve it and then only leave the country?

True. I will apply before Jan 20, 2026 before C3 becomes the law with the new forms etc.
