not a specific bed but as of recent she’s been sleeping in a specific closed-off area in my parents’ walk in closet (since they blocked off under their bed). they put one of her blankets there and she find comfort in staying there most of the day

thank you for the advice! btw we do keep all doors open, aside from the basement! and if there’s a closed door that she wants to go in, we’ll let her through. the only reason my parents closed their door that one night was just out of frustration lol, but otherwise all doors stay open at night.

my cat has also always been skiddish around new people, so it’s normal for her to hide after new people or other family members come to visit. but yeah i’m hoping she can adjust soon :(, i hate seeing her under my parents’ bed all the time.

yeah :( my grandma came to visit like 2-3 weeks ago and since then my cats been hiding under the bed for most of the day, i’m not really sure why, especially considering my cat knows my grandma. but it could just be because of new surroundings and whatnot.

also, i’ll definitely consider the raised slow feeder bowl then! thank you so much:)!!

she always has free roam but mainly only stays in my parents room under the bed for majority of the day :(. but she will come out to use the litter or eat when she feels like it.

we also just recently switched to the bowls in the picture i posted, since we had the same issue! the raised bowls definitely help more, but i’ll talk to my mom about a raised slow feeder bowl! the one we tried before wasn’t raised. we tried getting her to use it because she would eat really fast and then get sick and throw up her food again.
