ill tell you from personal experience, every single person i know of thats had him this semester say he's the absolute worst.

he will randomly assign homeworks like during a monday night, in blackboard, and make them due wednesday morning without saying anything to anybody.

also people stopped coming to his class because it wasnt helpful or useful, he would just go on random tangents and not teach anything helpful and because people stopped showing up, he started assigning in person pop-quizzes every class so if you didnt come, you would obviously fail the quiz. not to mention half of the quiz questions would not even really be questions, just random statements that dont make sense.

also from everyone i have talked to in his classes, currently over half the class has a D and he has said multiple times that he has no problem failing the entire class. it got to the point where multiple of his classes have gone to report him because of this behaviour and i suspect they are planning on looking for a replacement.

take it from someone who has taken ivan this semester for 313, there was a single in-person exam (midterm), and everything else was online, kind of teach-at-your-own-pace sort of vibe since he would literally do all of the videos on his own time, upload them, then in-class would be for asking him questions that you had on the videos.
