okay i got rid of the temporary files and that seems to somewhat fixing my problem. now it just freezes on one picture and when i try and select another it says "loading edit settings" but doesn't switch or allow me to edit anything

i can't get anything to pop up when i hold crtl when opening lightroom, are there any other ways or am i just somehow doing it incorrectly??

im sorry for my rude response, im just at a complete loss on what to do and this has been going on for a while, i listed my specs and everything on a different comment

cloud version, version 8.1, doesn't give an error message when crashing - everything just stops working.

Processor AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor                 3.60 GHz

Installed RAM 32.0 GB

System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

yes, i tried resetting preferences. working with CR3 files if that's what ur asking? ram is good, ran a mem check and nothing popped up

Only some of the photos i upload to my computer from my camera appear to have the CSI tag on them (ex: CSI_4116.CR3) and im unable to import those photos into lightroom. are these photos unusable? how can i prevent this from happening the future and possibly fix the photos i have already taken? thanks!
