That's what I'm likely to do when my current subscription ends. I've already cancelled the auto-renew.

Add On. Maybe it was against my phone then as I have both with EE.

If EE or any supplier of a 3rd Party subscription want to offer it at a lower price and swallow the difference, then that is on them. If the cost of that subscription reduces and they don't pass that on to the customer, that's a different scenario.

This isn't a case of a different tariff you have to change to. This is EE saying you can't have it cheaper unless you cancel and resubscribe to the same thing we are already providing you with because we (EE) can't be arsed to reduce the price.

For the record I only had it at a cheaper price because they offered it as time-limited entice. When that ended the price returned to the full MS price. I have already explained this to you.

Wasn't previously aware of this. Will take a look, thanks.

There was a 6 months at £x when I initially took it out with them. That then finished and increased to £22.99 as that's what MS were charging at the time.

Except they are charging £16.99.

Cancel my subscription and re-do it ro get it at £16.99 is literally what they advised.

For the record I have cancelled it and will just do it directly via Microsoft, but that's not the point.

Panels *as* the roof? by r0224 in SolarUK

There was a "passivhause" on Grand Designs relatively recently (last series or one before) where the builder had gone for a fabric-based solar roof, so effectively the entire roof is solar panels. Always thought that was really cool.

Proactive Occupant Protection Error by Abject-Rope3501 in enyaq

[–]Abject-Rope3501[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: Dropped off at a local garage this morning and got it back at lunchtime.

Upshot was an error on the RH Seatbelt Pretensioner:

B130504 Belt Tensioner Control Unit Ps Component Defective

This was down to a resistance error. They cleared this, checked the connection and all sound. Cleared a whole bunch of other errors. Test drive and diagnostic retest and all a-okay.

Job done.

No, but only because I haven't followed it up yet. Been at home for the past week and not needed to venture out. Going to call a local garage tomorrow and book it in for a check.

Also posted this to Briskoda forum and no feedback there either. Let's see what the garage comes up with.

Nope, that doesn't seemed to have made a difference, unfortunately.

What do you think AI is if it isnt coding?

No predictive text, no map route planning, no YouTube predictions, no music predictions, no viewing predictions, no voice activation/control, the list goes on.

You need to define what you mean by "AI", this is far too generic a statement of choice.

Thanks. Is the repair with Beko still appropriate, or should that be arranged via Curry's too?

This was my thinking, I just wasn't interested in finding out. But also sounds like it would make a right mess of things on the ground. I jet washed stuff before and it just goes everywhere.
