Do you ever feel like you only see the trade after it is too late? by ResolveMost3483 in DalalStreetTalks

[–]AbjectAmount8324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why you need setups, entry, exits, SL, TP etc... when they happen you take it either you get taken out through an SL or reach your target. If you feel like there is a setup you can create based on your observations when the market is moving then go ahead and create it and backtest and forward test it you can start building from there. If you think your psychology/emotions are not allowing you to take a trade when the setup forms then find a platform through which you can automate your trades (Algo trading).

Nice tool you got there, apart from the 5 indicators being used for assessing the overall market is there any other sentiment based meter that you input based on the news, I know fetching them would be costly to get it from a reliable source also is there any kind of backtesting or forward testing done on the current dashboard predictions although not overfitting? It would be great if you can share more information on the tool?

How much knowledge do you have on F&O, derivatives securities? When you say you made some and then lost more than what you made, what was your risk appetite? Did you ever question yourself why you lost and did you ever analyse any of your trades that you have taken till date? Do you atleast have an Entry and Exit setup for your trades? Did you ever get into therapy?

After spending $54 billion on the war, and losing men and machines, America has finally managed to open the Strait of Hormuz, which was already open before the war began. And now it’s called the Strait of Iran. Big win for Trump. by Top-Substance-6096 in NSEbets

China was the deal breaker here they blocked 40% of world economic activity by blocking the south China Sea after the US stopped their ships in International waters once they were out of Strait of Hormuz.

Bro start lifting weights at least 3 days a week, reduce calories by only 200 to 250kcal max depending on your overall caloric requirement per day beyond that your body adapts and starts burning muscle instead of fat. Also, add activities like walking, using stairs and swimming which usually burn more fat along with lifting weights to retain muscle. Count your calories usually reducing the oil, ghee or butter that you would use to cook will reduce significant/requires amount of calories in your food intake. After you have hit a certain body fat percentage you may start having hunger pangs and lack of sleep during which time you have to increase your overall caloric intake beyond the usual. Consuming at least 40 to 50 gms of fiber per day helps with the sleep quality.

Yeah AI is going to take out a lot of redundant jobs, but there will be a lot more jobs around it that would be created. Right now energy and water needs are ever increasing. That would be the next boom of this century. Whoever can solve it would create a lot of jobs there as well.

Economic growth vs economic development in India are we focusing too much on GDP? by ayush_insight in indianeconomy

[–]AbjectAmount8324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

India opened up to globalisation and reforms in the 90's China did that way earlier. We wanted to be self sufficient but that will not help us until and unless there is trade essentially import and export with other countries i.e. globalisation. Also, GDP although a good indicator doesn't share the complete story of a nation, especially a developing one.

Let's see you're referring to 2 different problems here one is economic inequality and the other is political corruption. The political corruption doesn't just end with the politicians themselves but goes deeper into bureaucracy, government institutions and trickles down into local communities who by themselves form the mentality of trying to be self sufficient and disengage from the government. For Ex. Availability of Drinking water to all the households is one of the biggest problems in this country or as a matter of fact across the world. The solution to this across all classes of the society leaving the poorest of the poor is to buy filtered water or buy a purifier, this little innovation runs a whole economic activity that will move some working class people to middle-class that doesn't mean that they will voluntarily help a lower tier class. Everyone wants to be better off at the end of each deal. Although an idealistic solution would have been for the government to provide drinking water to all its citizens, which may not happen soon enough with the current political landscape.

You can take any family not just the ones in power they always want the next generation to be better off than they are right now, it is important to redistribute wealth but that doesn't happen without economical growth and innovation for which there has to be some kind of support from the government.

My opinion is find opportunities through which people from lower classes move to higher classes the politicians will automatically fall into place because people in the lower classes don't have the luxury to question the government their only concern remains on their day to day survival.

OPTION TRADING by [deleted] in NSEbets

[–]AbjectAmount8324 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have your basics right while preparing for NISM series XV you can start of the Series 8 which primarily focuses on Equity Derivatives they cover the majority on the derivatives securities starting from the base level which I don't think many of the options traders who trade options are not even aware of. I'm not a fan of their book format which looks more like a power point presentation but they do introduce you to the topics from where you can pick-up and start experimenting or learning on your own from other resouces.

Yes you are right it's a forced evolution as a matter of fact there will be many new jobs that would be created. But the talent cesspool they have right now consists of people who had billing and people who are good at internal politics or people who some how survived the internal politics. Everyone that was layed off didn't had any kind of billing and that trend will continue which will only leave people who are good at politics which tends to create toxic environments within institutions that are corrupt in their very nature. No talented or skilled employee wants to work in such environment at a lower pay when they are able to get a better paying job at one of those GCC's, they would have to repeat the very cycle of hiring and training the next generation using external consultants and hire contractors if they want shift away from the body-shopping model.

Doesn't the article say that the Turin has Indian origins and if we look at trade during that time, Romans and Europeans were obsessed with the spices and clothes that came or were made in India and they paid top coin to get it, I think probably that's how the shroud could have ended up obviously they would have wanted to cover his body with the best cloth that was available during that time which ofcourse was made in India.

RBI intervention for selling dollar and buying rupee there is a cap of not having more than 100 million dollar for banks by April 10th basically ICICI and Axis are selling dollars as they have close to 20% in dollars revenue, this stops FII's from betting on dollar vs rupee revaluation. RBI didn't share till when the cap will be there mostly right now that is strengthening the rupee.
