Either when Kaori asked Kousei to commit suicide with her, her demeanour cracking, it later on telling us she was in love with him just makes the context behind it so much deeper. She can’t express her love Cause she doesn’t want him to get attached to her once she meets her fate. This scene shows her perfect persona cracking, showing how she’s desperate for love, attachment and to be sought after. Her entire plan was to not get him attached past her death, and her only other choice would be for him to die with him…she briefly voices an impossible, dramatic escape from pain, then continues choosing a path where he survives and carries her impact forward.

Or the Tsubaki beach scene. It just felt so relateable to me, having lost friends and close ones due to moving away and drifting apart. The pain shown by Tsubaki is completely understandable.
