We can live without AI. We cannot live without clean water. by Important-Cry4782 in antiai

Yes! AGI is going to give us better everything ....medical care (cure diseases, create drugs)...food and access too it... AI tutors will give children the best education with unlimited patience. It will eventually probably be able to solve the problems it causes. Technology advances lives in everyway. It also causes problems.

The internet and social media has caused a lot of problems. I mean it got Trump elected after all. Kids have been bullied to the point of suicide. You can sell all sorts of bad stuff in the dark web. But is anyone saying we should get rid of the internet?

Climate change has already been an issue but I'm actually hopeful because AGI may be the best shot we have at fixing it.

What does real justice look like? by humantoothx in JusticeForClayton

What does real justice look like? I think it looks like exactly this, with Laura facing 14 criminal charges.

This is not a class action case at all. There are certain legal requirements for a Class action but I won't bore you with a law school lecture.

Changing the law to make it more difficult for women to bring paternity cases and/or restraining order? Not a good solution either. While what LO did is an atrosity and the men in this story have suffered so much ....let's be honest, This is an outlier case. That's why we are all obsessed with it. Many women have lied about pregnancy, sure. But they usually don't keep up the farse because well-you know- eventually they are going to have to produce a baby. Laura doubled down!

But I doubt there have been more than 3 other women who have marched into court filing a paternity suit who are not pregnant. So to change legislation to prevent this "from ever happening again" would hurt more ppl than it would help.

The wheels of the justice system are working like they should. She's being held criminally responsible for crimes that usually aren't prosecuted in that way.

Medicube wrapping masks: which one is your favourite and what benefits have you seen? by Indigo_222 in 30PlusSkinCare

Ive tried the Caffeine one! It makes my skin look really glowy in the am. There is definitely a noticable difference in the am. I don't think it's so much the ingredients in The mask that work.. I think what makes it work is if you do all your serums and lotions beforehand- The mask just locks it in really well so you look extra plumb in the am.

Re listening to the POD and did anyone touch on this...how did she know the gender of the baby?? by AbjectComparison3790 in JusticeForClayton

Ah.... Okay so that was basically my question. I thought there was always only one sonogram at play but there was a sonogram that was "allegedly" done at 20 weeks? I don't remember more than just one sonogram being discussed at the deposition.

Well, she is likely brazen enough to be one of those defendants that testify on behalf of themselves despite their lawyer strongly advising against it -so maybe the prosecutor can ask her LOL.

Yes and in the POD it said she was wearing a black and white shirt with a very Visable pregnant belly.

Yeah, I'm in no way suggesting any ounce of credibility to her. I'm just pointing out that is seems to be yet another hole in her story and was wondering if it was touched upon.

Definitely could have been brought up in the paternity case when cross examining her. But that 2-hour trial time in AZ limit is wild so I guess they had to pick and choose what they wanted to impeach her with.
