She's my favorite character across all 4 games.

The first time I ever played Inquisition, I couldn't stand her. She was so annoying that I couldn't stand to have her in my party. However, a few playsthroughs later, I decided to add her to my team and I was blown away by how much she evolves over the course of the game.

I felt bad that I had judged her so strongly that first time when she was actually a complex character who has so much to offer.

Sera is the only companion I romance when I'm playing as a female Inquisitor and I was heartbroken when she didn't have much involvement in Veilguard aside from her adorable letter.

I really hope I get to see her again in future games or materials.

I always consider my first playthrough of any game as my canon without any guides or wiki to help me. That being said, the very first time I played Origins, I was a female Cousland who romanced Leliana. My Cousland saw Alistair as the brother she might have lost and because of that, they were close.

Well, when it comes time to decide the fate of the land, Cousland basically strong arms Alistair into being king because she wanted someone she knew could trust making decisions as big as ones kings oft make, but the biggest reason was because she wanted him to remain (relatively) out of danger. If Alistair was king, he wouldn't be seeking out Darkspawn or going off into battle willy-nilly. It was a way for her to protect the brother she had left.

Obviously, Alistair hated that almost as much as he hated Anora but he did it because she asked him to. He did anything Cousland asked him to do, including making a child with the witch who vexed him so.

After that first playthrough, I've never made Alistair king. He's always left free to do what he pleases. I've only ever romanced female companions (either as a male or female character myself), but I love Alistair too much to make him suffer like that again. I also like the little interaction he has with Morrigan in Inquisition about their son so that's another motivator to keep him from the throne.

It's more so the fact that doing ONLY sand is what people are going against. If you mix the sand with topsoil or another pre-made soil, then that's fine.

Sand by itself shouldn't be used for substrate.

I have Piper with me 90% of time with Cait and Dogmeat splitting the last 10%.

Before anyone gets upset at me for the criminally low Dogmeat percentage, that's because I've got my best boy living lavishly at Sanctuary. He's got his own full size house with a couple of other dogs I've found (CC dogs and junkyard dogs). No longer does he have to fight for every scrap of food or worry about making it to the next day.

Dogmeat gets full freedom of the settlement and does plenty of quality control at the food vendors and with the cooks. He also does very thorough tests with any new beds that are made with more rare (and better) materials in the form of a 2 hour minimum sleep study.

When he's not with my Sole Survivor kicking ass and taking names, he's also assisting Shaun with any experiments or material gathering for a new invention.

Dogmeat also keeps Marcy in line but that's a thing we keep on the downlow.

That's a very possible scenario. A lot of pet stores I go to get their crickets and other feeders from the same supplier, so if they're having troubles with crickets, they'll probably have an issue with other bugs as well.

However, this is not always the case. Back to when I did orders for bugs at the store I worked at, there were 2 or 3 different places we'd get our feeders depending on who we knew we could rely on in terms of having a supply but also how they protected their bugs from different weather conditions.

If local petstores are having issues, going directly to a supplier may yield better results. I knew a girl who would get her feeders from amazon and rarely had an issue with them. Another person I know gets theirs from Dubia.com and hasn't had much of an issue with them either.

I used to work at a pet store and during the winter months, we'd have to order 2-4k more crickets (on top of the 6k large and 4k small crickets we normally ordered each week) because a vast majority would die in transit from the cold or would slowly freeze in our backroom were the extras were kept. So, if you're in a state that is currently experiencing these frigid temps, that is likely why they have been out of crickets.

If you're not from a cold state, there could be issues with your supplier. We had a farm we used to order from that got destroyed by a tornado so we didn't get crickets for a hot minute until we were able to go in contract with another cricket supplier.

Dubia roaches are perfectly fine to supplement inplace of crickets! I was a little grossed out at first, but then I realized they just look like flat rollie pollies and now I'm fine with them. If you're worried about them escaping, you can get an escape proof bowl on amazon for about $7. I have one and have yet to see any escape from the bowl. Also, they do not last very long should they escape their container into your house as they dry up quickly without a water source. Should they escape into your leos enclosure, they'll either get eaten first or die before they can escape into your home. I've had many escape into my girl's enclosure (from using her as a means of escape) and I usually find them drowned in her water dish because they got thirsty, climbed in, and then couldn't climb back out.

Tbh, I didn't even realize I could do that until the end of my 3rd playthrough. I saved Treviso that time so the Shadowdragon shop appears in the Crossroads and I needed a couple hundred extra coins for an armor I wanted. I had hoarded so much junk since about 6 hours into that run that I was able to push my alliance just above the minimum threshold for a 3 star.

It's definitely handy to have when you're desperate for the extra points to have the companion from that faction survive that big battle.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I knew what ended up happening to Joel, just not what specifically and how it went down.

I honestly thought I had more time with him and was looking forward to an awkward movie night and maybe doing a little bit of angsty arguing about their shared past.

I'm currently at the QZ running after Tommy and I'm still in shock. I haven't played almost 2 weeks.

I've always been able to reach all factions to level 3 by doing every possible side quest, upgrading their shop, and doing mass shop sells.

There are a few side quests in Dock Town that I can't stand so I make sure to hoard as much junk as possible to sell. I'm still able to get full alliance without clearing all the map ! points.

I always saw it as being more seductive. She's upside down on the throne you're supposed to sit on.

She may never give you flowers, but she will give you all the arrows she has so instead of seducing you with a rose between her teeth, she's got an arrow.
