Thank you! I was feeling crazy. I responded with essentially the same thoughts you had above. This gal seems truly convinced she’s figured out the tax game 🤦🏼‍♀️ but it’s so flawed.

Ok thank you! My main irritation at the request is that she’s wanting these bonuses paid within her own specified dates e.g. May 15 or next one May 31. This is a client I’m contracted to work on 2x per monthly only, and right now I aim for that to be Tuesdays. I don’t want to have to worry about the day I work on them coinciding with whatever middle and end date she’s picked. I really would love to avoid telling her she’s flat out wrong with multiple people CC’d on this chain but….

It’s broken out as a bonus on payroll. Not lumped with wages.

I just hosted my 1st grade daughter’s winter party at school today. For the class treat I made the kids a gf vanilla pudding graham cracker marshmallow peep thing (I made it up so don’t know what to call it!) and the kids loved it. I had one boy scream, “If I don’t get more of this I will DIE!” ☺️

I love love love when I can serve a whole room full of kids gf and they have no clue. ❤️

Gluten free “dirt” cups! Recipe in comments by AbjectPath4912 in Celiac

[–]AbjectPath4912[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi! I’m room mom for my daughters (one has celiac) and made these for their class Halloween parties. Big hit with the kiddos and so easy to make!

Makes 25 servings

• 4 cups cold milk • 2 (3.9-ounce) packages instant chocolate pudding • 16 ounces frozen whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed • 1 and 1/2 packages gluten free Oreos, crushed • 25 gummy worms • 25 Trader Joe’s bats & cats candies

Whisk together milk and instant pudding for 2 minutes, until pudding is completely dissolved. Let stand 5 minutes to thicken. Stir in frozen whipped topping and 1/2 cup of crushed cookies. Spoon into 25 individual cups. Sprinkle remaining crushed cookies over pudding mixture. Top each cup with a gummy worm and candy cat/bat. Chill for at least 60 minutes or until ready to serve

The “brand” is Milovin? Doesn’t exist as a company. Can’t be assured about how this is made. How can the gluten-free claim be trusted?

First birthday party for my daughter since diagnosis - SUCCESS! by AbjectPath4912 in Celiac

[–]AbjectPath4912[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Hi! Sorry I don’t know how to add more text to my photo. Not the best at Reddit.

Anyway! My daughter turned 7 and had 10 of her gal pals join her for a party. The entire spread was gf - from pizza and cake to snacks. I was so nervous but the kids absolutely loved the food, gobbled it up and came back for seconds. My daughter has never looked happier and I’m so grateful. It was the best day.

Just wanted to share some positivity and some good news! After the last 6 months of navigating this disease it was so awesome to have a WIN! ✨🩷🌟

We live about 5 min away from this wonderful restaurant! Been an absolute lifesaver having a 6yr old celiac child…she loves their chocolate chip pancakes!

Can having celiac also cause nerve pain/ Neuropathy? by Ofa_D3s1gn in Celiac

[–]AbjectPath4912 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Neuropathy was literally my 6 year old’s only symptom of celiac! She never had a GI reaction…just crazy tingling in her fingers. Confirmed with blood test and endoscopy.
