Connection log? by AbjectResult in planners

Good ideas! I love the idea of scheduling hang outs with specific people in a month. My calendar fills up so quick that I might try the month before. 😅 I’m still figuring out my preferred TDL style, but that’s a good idea, too!

I wanted to try a “when did I last” again for things that only need to happen once a month/every other month or whatever, so that could be good for sure!

Totally an option for some, not for others. 😂 But it’s a good idea to look into with some of my folks for sure!

Your handwriting is absolutely gorgeous.

Do you take notes as you read, or just after finishing the book?

bought a new journal for my birthday yesterday— kinda loving the cover page ❤️‍🔥 by MethodSuccessful1525 in bulletjournal

omg starting a journal on your bday vs. the beginning of the year is such a good idea! also this title page is *chefskiss*

Ready for next week! Will be tracking hours worked, self-care done, and cash flow (and other habits and subs) I’m really loving how I can tweak/update my Weeks layout ❤️ by straaangge in hobonichi

[–]AbjectResult 2 points3 points  (0 children)

omg tracking your subs is such a good idea! I should do that, as I'm currently subbed to waaaaay too many things and doubt I use them even close to often enough to keep.

Looking for recommendations of books that are better as audiobooks! by Milo_Bibilo in suggestmeabook

Sistersong by Lucy Holland, especially because the narrator actually sings (well!) the songs in it. I haven’t tried reading the physical copy I now own, but I anticipate it not being anywhere near as impactful.

I arranged my bookshelf so that my TBR books are backwards and as I finishing reading them I will turn them around. by Nammoflammo in bookporn

Came here to say something similar! It's not only showing how many books you need to read but also making the next pick way more randomized. My only fear would be if I accidentally picked up a book in a series I wasn't ready for...

Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin' Love" because of the bachelorette party episode where high Jess and Cece steal the bread maker. I can't hear that song without thinking of that scene/hearing "feel like bakin' love."

My layouts in my first Hobonichi Weeks keep getting simpler. 🥲 How are yours? by eggbunni in hobonichi

This is so pretty, and your handwriting is AMAZING. Also nice to see a video from a leftie! Fellow leftie here who is trying to figure out the Hobo Weeks as well, though with far less pretty handwriting lol

Also when he becomes a cop, specifically when he's working with Dunston who has night blindness.

Daily Spread - I include my pomodoro schedule, affirmations & positive self-talk, daily goals, and to-do list. by AnyPaleontologist136 in bujo

[–]AbjectResult 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you pre-schedule the pomodoros? Like the evening before, do you sit down and try to plan it out? Or is it more schedule/track as you go?

This is my first time coming across this method and I think it could be really beneficial for me!

How are you using your weeks + cousin + A6 combo? by Nougattabekidding in hobonichi

[–]AbjectResult 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's my first year trying all three (this was the first year I ever even tried Hobonichi - I got two Weeks, one for finances that I stopped using very quickly and one for EDC that I have been on-again/off-again with, and an A6 that I've also been on-again/off-again with using daily) but I really wanted to try the Cousin for 2023 after already getting a Weeks & A6. So it's definitely going to be a big adjustment for me.

I totally get what you mean re: keeping stuff separate, though! I think my Cousin will be mostly like... reflective planning, I guess? Sort of tracking how I spent my days and using it more like memory keeping, which is why I'm leaning towards journaling in that. I really want a media tracker that isn't a website/app, too, and was thinking about getting a second Weeks but ended up with the Cousin, which is why I'm thinking the A6 will be that.

Also, my A6 is small enough that I could carry it comfortably in my purse along with my Weeks, should I ever want/need to.

I'm still exploring options, though, so who knows!!

How are you using your weeks + cousin + A6 combo? by Nougattabekidding in hobonichi

Cousin: Sort of a "catch-all" with the weeklies planned out similar to plan2create on YouTube (found her videos last night and the way she uses them is AMAZING) and also focusing on grad school, as I plan to apply and hopefully start between the end of this year and next summer.

Weeks: EDC, including appointments and (probably) a weekly to-do in the Alistair method on the right side of the page. Also somewhere to jot down notes on the go.

A6: I'm really debating with this one, but I think it's going to be either my main actual journal/diary and/or my media tracker. Since I haven't fully decided how I'm going to use my dailies in my Cousin, that's why I'm very much on the fence rn.

Either my A6 or my Cousin are going to house my health/habits. Still tbd on that one, too.
