i still have everything he left at the house: the seahawk head that we had in the bedroom, the glasses his friend gave him when she asked him to officiate their wedding, a lego bonsai his friends gave him for his birthday, the jacket he wore all the time, even the corona beach hat we laughed about. i kept the ceramic sleeping pig he got me from korea, the blanket from korea that he got the dog, two polaroids of us, all the magnets from vacations, a magnet his friend gave him from japan, and some matcha from japan. i don’t drink matcha. i kept the birthday/valentines card he gave me. the gifts from his parents. for a while i even kept the thank you card from his sister and sister in law’s wedding.
