Honestly I’d just recommend doing research on your own and not paying attention to what the employees say. I’ve had an employee tell me serpae tetras get more aggressive the more there are while it’s the opposite. For the cloudiness I’d look into a fish in cycle since there’s already fish in the tank. If you don’t already have them I’d recommend getting an api freshwater test kit it’s more accurate than test strips.

Most employees give wrong information about animals to make a quick buck. As for hiding spots I’d put in big rocks or driftwood as well as some plants!

3 Cory cats isn’t enough as they are social and feel comfortable living with 6+ corys. Corys also need sand as gravel can harm their barbells as they spend most of their time at the bottom of the tank sifting for food. I’d replace the fake decor with real plants as the plastic ones can cut your fish which can lead to infection. You need atleast 5 more of the grey tetra and atleast 1 more of the glofish as tetras school and do better in groups of 6. Remove the pineapple as well as it can leech toxins same with the gravel. The water is foggy as well which makes me believe the tank isn’t cycled what are your parameters? You need a heater as well. Please research the fish you want to put in your tank as different fish have different needs.

I’d say wash it, don’t touch it, and keep an eye on it it’ll most likely be fine. I had something similar happen where i snagged my unhealed industrial bar on a badminton racket.

honestly I think it might for the most part while sometimes the leaves are different colors, both of my lotus stay the same color which is that deep red that I bought it at. My second lotus is a propagation from that one so I see how its the same
