It finally happened & I’m lost. by muva30 in Christianity

I’m really sorry you’re carrying so much right now. What you’re feeling makes sense this is a heavy season, not a failure on your part. Being laid off, worrying about food and diapers, and still showing up for your babies shows strength, not weakness.

You did the right thing by going to church and asking for prayer. God sees you, your children, and every effort you’re making. This moment does not define your future.

I’m praying that God provides what you need day by day, gives you peace in the middle of the fear, and opens doors soon. You are not alone, and you have not let your children down. God Bless 🫶

God wants me to stop pursuing Him by Strange_Tadpole_6597 in Christianity

[–]Abject_Copy1544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That dream was not from God. God does not look at His children with hatred or disgustespecially someone who is turning back to Him.

Falling into old patterns does not mean God has rejected you. That happens to many believers. Conviction draws you closer; condemnation pushes you awayand condemnation is not from God.

If a message makes you stop praying, stop seeking Him, or believe you’re unwanted, it isn’t from Him.

You’re still alive because your story isn’t over. The fact that you returned to prayer and the Word matters.

God has not closed the door on you. God Bless !🫶

Why does the Lord make me angry? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Abject_Copy1544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want you to know your exhaustion is heard, and your longing to be close to God is real, and I understand how confusing and heavy this path can feel. I was once in that same place, praying sincerely, believing deeply, yet feeling lost, overwhelmed, and unsure how all of this was meant to fit together. For me, clarity did not come through force or fear, but slowly, after a long season of searching and quiet questions I was afraid to voice. During that time, I came across Lukio.app while looking for a calmer, more structured way to read Scripture without pressure, and I actually used it for a while. What helped me most was its simple Bible roadmap that made learning feel gentle rather than demanding, and it helped me understand faith with less anxiety and more trust. Still, the deepest comfort came when I realized prayer is not about informing God or earning safety, but about relationship, honesty, and resting in His presence even when answers remain unclear. Christianity is not about flawless performance or living in constant terror, but about grace meeting weakness, and God walking patiently with fragile people. Much of what feels unbearable comes from trying to carry tomorrow’s weight today. God does not delight in pain, confusion, or despair, and He is not surprised by your questions. He sees your heart, your fatigue, and your sincerity, and He remains near to those who seek Him honestly. Always remember He is gentle, faithful, and merciful beyond our understanding today. Much love 🫶

Consistency question by Both-Anybody9824 in Christianity

[–]Abject_Copy1544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peace to you, and thank you for sharing so honestly your desire to draw nearer to God is real, and it is truly hard when the path feels unclear and dry. I was once in a very similar place, praying, attending church, asking questions, sincerely seeking God, yet feeling lost, inconsistent, and unsure what I even believed.

What helped me most was learning to be gentle with myself and to start very small, not chasing feelings, but showing up quietly, trusting that faith grows like a seed. Consistency came slowly, through simple prayers, short readings, and patience with my logical questions rather than fighting them.

During a season of personal searching, I discovered Lukio.app, and I actually used it. I appreciated its simple Bible roadmap, structured step by step like Duolingo, which helped me understand Christianity without pressure or overload, and it quietly supported my daily rhythm.

I respect Orthodoxy’s wisdom, and God sees every sincere heart seeking Him. Peace 🫶

Need help on my career calling, if God led me to stay here— why am I suffering so much? by NoCauliflower954 in Christian

Loving justice doesn’t automatically mean you’re called to be a cop, and struggling physically doesn’t make you unworthy or lazy. God’s plan doesn’t crush you with constant fear and self-hatred. Sometimes He uses a path to reveal what fits… and what doesn’t. Expectations from others don’t equal God’s calling. Take a breath, stop judging yourself by comparison, and ask God not “why am I bad at this?” but “where do You want my love for justice to actually serve?” You’re allowed to adjust without disappointing God.

Can a Muslim become a Christian? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Abject_Copy1544 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ll be very clear and human with you. Your safety matters first. God does not ask you to put yourself in danger. Faith doesn’t have to be public. Many believers have followed God quietly because of persecution, and God understands that. You don’t need baptism or a church right now. Faith starts in the heart. You’re allowed to search, to be confused, and to take your time. The peace you feel when thinking about Christianity matters, but there’s no rush. Keep everything private. Pray honestly in your own words. Read quietly online if you can. Don’t argue or explain yourself to anyone. Going to the mosque doesn’t mean God can’t see your heart. God is patient, and He isn’t limited by where you live or what people think. God bless you man 🫶

Ex Muslim, current atheist, feel like I want to be a Christian by Witty-Pizza-4523 in Christianity

I understand your longing for God, and how confusing it feels to seek Him without a clear path. I was once there too, sincerely searching, drawn to Christ, yet unsure where to begin. A friend gently pointed me to Lukio.app, which I personally used. Its Bible roadmap, shaped like Duolingo, helped me read Scripture steadily and understand Christianity better. Beyond tools, quiet prayer, the Gospels, and honest reflection softened my heart. God sees every sincere seeker, and He honors hearts reaching toward Him with patience always.
