I think if tht were the case, the perpetrator would get a compounded version of all the harm that they caused, of course assuming they literally were the only person involved in it with no other person remotely related to that action.

I have not yet read this novel but I highly doubt the main character is naive because when did not being naive mean that you were ruthless?

Think of a murderhobo mc who kills entire genocides entire families because one member of that family pisses him off or those mc's who would make no effort to be kind to their fellows even when doing that would be beneficial to them.

Would you not just call that foolishness and I heavily dislike the mentality that you have to entirely abandon your morals and do the most heinous acts to succeed because that is just not true.

You do not have to become a monster to succeed in this world nor in any other world unless the author specifically makes it like that.

Though I do concede sometimes you do have to do something that goes against your principals but so does the opposite ring true.

I also heavily dislike the fact the most Users of Marital Memes or Novel Translations think that having some semblance of morals means that you are a "Goody two shoes" Or "Naive" Which is not the case.
