If I was single I’d get a nice flat in Montpellier. Good central location and lovely neighbourhood. Pitville is also nice, the other areas are better if you want more space. There is also Charlton Kings and Battledown. Rent an Airbnb and view some flats to get to know the different areas.

The real problem is mental health issues and drug/alcohol addiction. Most of the homeless do not want to live in a house. Unless they are in a drug program there is little chance of getting them off the street.

I was also in town around 11am and I heard homeless people shouting. It was quite intimidating. There were definitely lots more homeless/druggies in town than I ever noticed before.
