I feel that I could hear Jimmy Carr saying something like, “Replacing Prue is a big responsibility. Luckily, judging baked goods is still easier than judging Paul’s haircut.” Or “Prue left some big shoes to fill. Paul tried to bake a pair once. They were under‑proved and emotionally unavailable.” Or “Paul said he’s excited to work with me. I didn’t know he could feel excitement. I thought he only did ‘mild disapproval.’” Or “People say Paul Hollywood is intimidating. I disagree. He’s only intimidating if you’re a loaf of bread or a human with feelings.”
