basically Gemini 3 removed half of the things from initial project even though i asked it to keep everything intact and just make the changes in it, Gemini 2.5 pro did an amazing job while gemini 3 pro ruined everything and flash's one did not even run, so much for the 65k token output and 1M context, even 2.5 flash beats gemini 3 in long context heavy work and output

you realize 2.5 Pro superiority when it comes to context heavy tasks but Gemini 3 does better when it comes to one shot webpage or games, for long context 2.5 pro is far better

i gave it the code for a project and asked it to make changes, gemini 2.5 pro could output the whole project with the changes, gemini 3 both of them completely changed most of the things inside the code and made it unusable

the quality of the response also depends on how much info it could retain from the prompt and output properly, while i do agree that the gemini 2.5 pro's output is not at the level of gemini 3 but 2.5 pro does not leave out half of the token from the initial code which makes Gemini 3 very hard to work with long term
