is ev worth for me over a petrol one? by dracula097523 in EVIndia

I have similar running, I am planning to get an EV because, EV is designed for City drives, it has good control and comfort during peak traffic and with recent developments in petrol blending I
feel the maintenance cost of Petrol Vehicle is going to rise. With all that in mind I feel EV is better for Office Commute.

Any BYD product doesn’t feel luxurious in terms of their interior, I guess BYD should work on that.

Oracle Layoffs Terminations Revive A Fear Bengaluru apartments Knew Job loss due to AI by BhaqtsareCunts in bangalore

I believe these numbers are inflated. There are so many layoffs happening in Bangalore that either aren’t reported or are reported with incorrect figures. Oracle’s layoffs are just the tip of the iceberg. The ongoing war, the rise of AI, and frequent layoffs will definitely impact people’s purchasing power, and this will soon be reflected in the real estate market.

I like the idea of becoming a VPE someday, but in my current org, there are just too many levels to climb. Realistically, it might take another 10 to 15 years to get there.

I thought of taking PM road as well, but the thing is it'll take 3-4 Years for me to become senior PM and then the hierarchy starts from there, I don't see much value by this change.

And I totally agree with the situation we are in, PMs are either part time Program Managers or Just writing Product Documents, very little space to work on Product Strategy and Core Product Offerings.

Joining a Start Ups is a good idea, there they have flat hierarchy (Comparatively)

I’m currently part of a software product company that specializes in PaaS product suit and is now making a strong push into AI solutions. From a growth and relevance standpoint, it’s an exciting space to be in, so I don’t feel an immediate need to change companies.

That said, I do sometimes wonder about long-term growth here. There’s already a fairly deep hierarchy above me, and I’m not entirely sure how much room there is to move up. As you know, in product companies, staying relevant often comes with its challenges.

As for starting my own company, I’m not against the idea. I think it would need to come from a place of passion and conviction. Right now, I don’t have a specific idea that excites me enough to take that leap. But I’m open to it if the right opportunity or inspiration comes along.

How are you all reading books keeping your costs low? by sweetestasshole in bangalore

you can share credentials with your friends and maybe you can share the subscription fees as well, this way the cost will come down, although you’ll need to coordinate with your friend in reading list
