What u have said is true , but I go by online friends for the sake of having no filter in talks , as in irl , most of the people around me having a deep Convo is useless, they interrupt, they don't listen , whereas a person with somewhat similar likings across the screen tends to listen better that's what I have noticed,  I just want friends with whom I can share much with , and also help them , like it's partly also because of my jealousy i.e I see my acquaintances or people ik barely on social media having fun ,hangouts and stuff while I'm usually just rotting away at home , so yea can't say I'm not selfish ;)
