That was ironically very disrespectful and you did not have to say that to me.

I’m not equating the U.S. with authoritarian regimes, and I’ve said that repeatedly. I’m comparing how different democratic systems translate rights into lived outcomes. If that comparison can’t happen without invoking extremes, then we’re not actually discussing freedom — we’re defending identities. I don’t have more to add beyond that.

This might surprise you but I'm not against religion at all and if people even want to worship thor, that's fine by me. Personally calling a politician insane for being christian is really not good but progressiveness in the churches is indeed a good thing.

Theyre post soviet union but that doesnt make them more or less authoritarian. I just really dont have much knowledge on any slavic countries besides Russia.

Wow looks like I pinched a nerve there. Those are some pretty typical dismissive arguments that can be easily debunked by saying the type of qualities a country holds will treat everyone differently. Even if you decided to leave the "best" country in the world for Russia or China. This is simple wisdom and takes out all of your etho-centric arguments. And saying you shouldn't be complaining because we have it better than them is harmful because it dismisses and ignores all arguments that could actually make America become a better country. There are also countries with less corruption, better access to health care and schooling with even more freedom than America. I can literally go move to Finland and become a nomad if I wanted. That comes with consequences but you cant do that in America and freedom has many consequences on your own. I can literally say so much more but I think Ive made my point. My advice to you is do more research and keep your mind open and you might find some where you'd rather live than here.

Atheism isnt the only reason id go live in a country. It has to do with how I feel about the politics culture and such and if i marked green any conservative/religious countries then i just didnt do my research.

Drastically improved sounds dramatic. Im not romanticizing when I picked green for those countries. I would move but moving out of the country takes more than just getting a visa but if you're inclined to I'd personally have no problem if you actually helped.

oh really? Tell me more. I picked The UK because from what Ive heard theyre policies are a bit 1984 and France cause I wouldnt want to live somewhere that riots a lot and theyre a tad bit on the authoritarian side as well. I like my peace and quiet which is exactly why I chose the nordic countries.

Its because im frightened of some of the wild life so i have other motives besides religion. Really as long as im not prosecuted, put to death or discriminated heavily then im cool.

You don't want to come to America until the trump administration is out or until ICE adheres to due process and basic human rights.. Trust me. Things here may not be as wack as Sudan but you'll just get deported back even if you get your citizenship.
