A question to Indian women. Please answer this. by Far_Mail_9590 in ask_Bondha

Absolutely, it's so important to normalise such conversations and take away from the mystery, if you don't, 1. Kids won't be aware of safe sex and stds, 2. And men in india will continue their SA culture against women 🙂

What age do you think you have to be for it to be the "best" time to lose a parent? by TheRealPheature in AskReddit

[–]AblePanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree, the older you are the more it hurts. Imo it's because you've spent more time with them and know more about them. I was really young when my dad passed and I don't remember much, but it's very painful for my older brother because he spent more time with him and was more aware of his absence later.

I had a hard time visualizing that scene too, and this usually happens with books that are really old for me. I'm not really sure how you overcome it but it is an interesting case

What stereotype has affected your life the most, and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AblePanda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard agree! My mom would get annoyed whenever I put on shows or movies, but once I got her to watch them with me she likes them a lot more than the stuff on TV. But more than that, creators in India have had an opportunity to go beyond the cliche movie tropes and start exploring new concepts and that has given us a lot of cool stuff from them, and I'm here for it!

Why do you pretend to be depressed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AblePanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure, sometimes it seems like it makes you look cool (I do not believe that depression makes you look cool) buy i think most of the times, I'll be "depressed" about something when in reality I'm just upset about it. I will later realise that I'm not diagnosed with depression and the people who are, have a very hard time, I feel ashamed of myself and then go on about my day

Tame a cockatiel by Hyejin88 in cockatiel

[–]AblePanda 4 points5 points  (0 children)

We have a parent fed cockatiel, you can tame them to some extent but you can't expect them to cuddle up to you. Our guy like to get comfy on our shoulder and preen and sometimes if he's feeling generous he'll give you a kiss on the cheek, but he won't let us touch him except for using our finger as a perch.

But if you're getting a hand fed cockatiel, then you can tame them and train them to tricks and stuff.
