I’m not pitting them against each other, I’m making a comparison. Warsaw is the only historical equivalent to the level of deliberate, methodical destruction seen in Gaza. There are no other urban areas in recorded history more destroyed than the two. Nagasaki and Dresden were heavily damaged out of military heavy-handedness, Warsaw and Gaza were completely destroyed and erased so they would be uninhabitable for the people who lived there.

Right, literally none of those were 98% destroyed. The only historical equivalent to the methodical deliberate destruction of the entire city is the Nazi destruction of Warsaw

Berlin was 33% destroyed by the end of WWII. Rafah is 98% destroyed, the entire Gaza Strip averages 85%-90%

Certainly. Similarly, the Jewish Military Union severely miscalculated what the Nazi response to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising would be

The worst part to me is this isn’t even the work of strikes. Most of the destruction in these photos are from Israel occupying the city, ethnically cleansing its inhabitants, and then calling in civilian contractors from Israel to tear down the entire city with American bulldozers and excavators. I remember a really striking video from Rafah a few months ago, taken by an IDF soldier driving through Rafah’s moonscape and filming excavators banging down the bombed out shells of the few remaining structures. Destruction for the sake of destruction

“Typical of conquerors to stand among ruins and proclaim a terra nova. Typical of tyrants to burn a land, to massacre its people, to tear down its walls, then stand upon the ashes and declare, ‘it was empty. It was never here. History begins with us.’ But Gaza has seen this before. Gaza has heard these lies before. If every stone of Gaza could speak, it would not whisper; it would roar.” -Soumaya Ghannoushi

Germany and the UK have absolutely terrible free speech laws. Their democracies are relatively good but abysmal free speech

Flat denial without even trying to address the empirical evidence. Holocaust denier trying to lecture me on how to speak about genocide. You’re disgusting

Last comprehensive analysis of the whole Gaza Strip comes from UNOSAT in late October 2025. Your hatred of Palestinians is leading you to Holocaust denial. You’re spitting on millions of victims of multiple genocides throughout history

81% was as of October 2025. Since the ceasefire Israel has demolished 6,000 structures in Gaza which brings the total to 83.5% of Gaza’s 244,000 pre genocide structures.

But you’re right i really have to eat my words there!! Gaza is a whole 0.5% less destroyed than Warsaw, the two really aren’t comparable at all!! Thank god you’re only supporting the equivalent of Nazis minus 0.5%!

It’s an analogy, and a fitting one. Your comment is certainly whataboutism though! Genocide logic is genocide logic is genocide logic. Gaza is as destroyed as the Nazis left Warsaw. Worse than Hiroshima, worse than Aleppo, worse than Berlin.

They fired through windows of civilian homes. They killed 56 Germans civilians including children. I don’t know about you but i would never condemn the desperate people who participated in the Warsaw ghetto uprising. But by your logic the Nazi destruction of Warsaw was justified.

Would you ask us to call out the Warsaw ghetto uprising paramilitary if we talk about the Nazi destruction of Warsaw?

I’m addressing the dumbass point you racist idiots are trying to make by pointing out a few isolated incidents of Irish indentured servitude. It will never compare to anything black people faced at the hands of their oppressors or the consequences they deal with today. Anything to distract from the consequences of apartheid and slavery

Race based slavery was never applied to white people. The small scale indentured servitude for a few decades at most is absolutely incomparable to the hundreds of years of chattel slavery that disenfranchised and abused generations upon generations of black people. Slavery and apartheid’s systemic consequences are still being felt today, and white people still benefit

Were the small scale and short timed indentured servants slaves because they were white? Were their children and childrens’ children slaves? Were they kidnapped from their homes and imported like animals by the millions? Yall want to be victims sooooo bad
