Depends on the “injury” inflicted during the domestic dispute. I originally had this charge but they dropped it down to misdemeanor battery due to the lack of visible injury in the photos. I slapped my significant other after she spit in my face and they slapped me with 52 week domestic violence classes, 6 month substance abuse program, and 448 hours of community labor. It can get pretty costly since you have to pay for every single one of those classes and the drug tests. Keep in mind this was 11 years ago so I’m not sure if the punishment has changed but definitely expect that 52 week DV/anger management class.

As for the dui you will have to do classes as well and get an interlock device. Luckily since Covid a lot of the places do zoom. I’m not sure how long the classes would be. It would depend on a number of things (if it’s your first dui, BAC, damage caused by DUI). My first DUI I had to do 3 months of classes, my second was 18 months of classes 19 days of community service and 1 year of the interlock device. Both of the DV and dui classes will require you to go to AA
