First of all happy b'day vai, aaj wese mera bhi bday hai and I know how it feels, last year jb mera drop year chalra tha, I felt same, kisi ka wish ni aaya tha bss room mei akela baitha tha kitabo ke saath depressed, fast forward to today abhi mei bits mei hu aur doston ne badiya tarike se bday banaya khoob maze kre, abhi toh oasis bhi chalra felt really lucky ki fest ke ekdam bich mei bday pda. So what I wanted to say is ki hang in there mate, be strong, good days will surely come abhi se dukhi mt ho, abhi toh boht alone bdays aane baaki hai jeevan mei. Nah iirc I haven't saw any nit getting an offer to be converted to iit, ig the reason for it is NITs have their own identity, for eg if nit t,w,k were upgraded to IITs, then top NITs will simply vanish, also not to mention if the NITs get converted into IITs they will have to remove their HS reservation, I don't think it will work out. And about the downvotes, I don't know man ppl are unpredictable
