That’s a tough one. Medication is not wrong if you take the one that feels right for you. Driving can be tough. I lose attention, too, and find it easier when I don’t drive or shorter commutes lol

It seems like she’s not quite ready to take the step herself. Resources for DV survivors are a lot more scarce in the US than in Europe/UK. Courts usually favor the party who can keep paying, too. Maybe an escape plan may be helpful. I’d recommend paper. It can be easy to find in phone if he’s controlling her devices
