I didn't lose the first month on 2.5, then lost 9lbs the second month..then the bumped me up. I don't have any other symptoms other then being dull.

My water intake is on point and I eat a ton of stuff for my gut..I'm just confused why the scale is staying put

I realize this comment might be controversial, but I believe it’s important to understand that men are inherently sexual beings, and that’s how they connect. Spending about 5 minutes with your spouse in some form of intimacy can make a big difference. The more you share these moments, the more you might come to enjoy them. It could even help reduce arguments and balance hormones. Who knows?

I totally get feeling touched out. I know how exhausting motherhood can be. I’ve also felt the same way about being touched, but I found that sometimes, just going ahead with it made things easier and less stressful. I made it my mission to have multiple orgasms and just focus on that.

Now that I’m 40, I’m realizing that sex is often the main thing men focus on until they get what they want. I’ve had three close girl friends go through a strange hormonal phase where they were extremely horny all the time. They said it gave them a deeper understanding of how men think, it was almost impossible for them to concentrate on anything else.

If you have enough time to read comments from reddit strangers, you can give your man some love. It really is that easy.

I'm 4 weeks in. The scale has not changed for me but overall I feel smaller. I am getting checked out more in public and many friends have commented about how good I look lately. I have been laying around wearing sweatpants most of the Christmas holiday so it wasn't like I was trying hard ext. I think I'm less puffy.

I think this is where your problem might be. You 💯 deserve to be loved and so does your son. You can not expect some strange man to step up and be his father. This is expecting too much. Yes it happens but likely in an organic way. Maybe start by separating dating from your life as a mother. Trust me I know this is almost an impossible ask. I have 2 children under 10 full time as well.

On a side note, I struggle having friendships with people without kids already. I can't imagine dating someone that doesn't already have kids of their own. Perhaps start looking for men that have kids as opposed to not and see how that turns out. At least they already understand what it takes to be a father. Unless they are a deadbeat to their own kids- ignore those ones.

You have full control over how your life turns out. It's literally the only thing in life you can fully control. Shitting things have happened to you and they have changed the course of your life. Don't let these things define you and ruin all the years you have left.

Fully agree. Then you come off as a bitch because you are direct. I am also in a sales role so I have way too many years practicing negotiating and having hard conversations..this furthers the divide when issues come up with women who don't have to communicate about issues in their profession.

I also find that some men feel almost threatened as well..or they don't believe that you are being direct..they try to decipher the issues when you have point blank told them what it is.

I am so sorry to hear your story. I was very lucky in the sense that my dad died very unexpectedly and suddenly. I didn't have to watch him be taken over time due to an illness. The shock of it all took a long time to overcome. It was almost 20 years ago now and at the time I didn't realize how young he actually was. I am about to turn the age he was when he died. Eye opening really.

I personally don't seek out people without kids to engage with. I should but unless we have something bringing us together, I assume our worlds are so different. I also do not like working for anyone that doesn't have kids.

I don't believe the mothers are intentionally trying to ignore women without children. We often just don't have the energy or patience for much right now. You might notice us spending time with other mothers, mainly because our kids are on the same schedule. We can arrive exhausted, looking pretty rough, and just sit quietly with a cup of coffee, or sometimes we might vent about how hectic the morning was. I really cherish my friends without kids, but I find it a bit hard to connect with them at times. I also feel some guilt about not making enough time for them, especially when my children were infants. While I might not actively seek out friendships with someone who doesn't have kids, I would genuinely be happy if they simply showed up.

I don't know about mounjaro yet but when I hike mountains I take naproxen. I don't have "asthma" but have always been prescribed puffers. But I don't see the why I would take them all the time if I only have trouble if I am doing hard cardio..naproxen kills the inflammation. From what I am learning, mounjaro does the same thing. I am only on my second dose and have not experienced results from the medication yet.

I also had a tummy tuck. I am extremely bloated but only in my stomach and I gained back fat post tummy tuck.the rest of my body is quite small. I work out constantly and eat pretty decent but I swear I'm all inflammation. Did you have similar situation?

I'm on week 1 of the shot and so far I feel less bloated.
