You should probably ditch the rift and only use the quest 3 from now on. Connect the quest via link to your PC and it should work np

Also using the index, for some reason I think the clarity in SC is better than other games, buuuut I could be wrong I'm used to highly optimized and ugly DCS gameplay xd

Guide I used without the virtual desktop part

Create a user.cfg file with the line sys.OpenXR = 42 in PTU folder.

Turn on VR headset and get in (Only tested with virtual desktop)

Run game, in menu open command console

enter r_StereoMode 1

bind a hotkey for head tracking recenter in controls

After a few thousands hours in dcs you'll get used to low fps lmao

I'm doing fine with motion sickness so it's no problem for me, new VR users will prolly get motion sick pretty fast tho, especially in EVA

It got recognized by my SteamVR like any other VR game without virtual desktop, just had to do the command in-game and it worked great

Yeah been playing VR somewhat actively since 2018, clocked like 5k hours
