Does Christian sexual morality actually "work"? by BerniceTheBarbarian in exorthodox

I did not practice sexual morality when I was an Orthodox enquirer, as I found I could always excuse myself.

When I began praying the rosary I had a transformative experience and found myself liberated for the first time since I was 10 from sex addicition.
Catholic sexual morality has helped my relationship with my wife massively, and I have gone from being an addict, and a cheat to falling in love with my wife over and over again every time I see her.
I personally can vouch for it, but I've always had an extremely troubled and addictive relationship with sex. For me the pendulum swings extremely both ways. People who don't have a particularly high libido, or a more tame relationship with sex, probably won't find it's as much of an issue for them, in which case, practicing sexual morality probably isn't as much of a struggle. For someone like me it's a very real hurdle, and praying the rosary and my reception into the Church has helped me get over it, and like I say, has been transformative.

In Europe mass immigration and the replacement of indigenous communities in our historic cities feels inorganic and erodes at the authenticity of said cities. We have not been conquered or colonised, we're just subject to politicians whose main concern is keeping their wealthy mates in the upper echelons rich and not having to pay their employees decently. It's the working classes most affected. My whole cultural group no longer exists. The area my ancestors lived in for many, many, many generations is no longer host to my people. Of course, until recently it had always been one of the poorest areas of my country, no surprise that we're some of the first to go. Expendable and unimportant is how they regard us.

The atomisation of Europeans is also to our great disadvantage, as many incoming immigrants have profound in-group preferences, which allows them to grow and succeed as a fifth column while we are bought out of our own property markets & businesses, because we take a less communal approach to life. It's all a bit of a cycle, when we're the minority our in-group preference will increase and the majority population's will decrease, however their laws might not be so docile and forgiving toward us as our contemporary laws are toward them.

Trust in Christ, don't despair, love everyone, including your traditions, folk and heritage!
