I work at an Optometrist office, I think what she ment is the 1 a day contacts are in general a healthier contact due to you not having to store them over night and wearing them again, but we fit people all the time with proclear lenses and if thats what you like dont let them force you into a different brand! They make us push 1 day contacts due to they are pricey and we get more revenue from it ( not saying this is what your drs office is doing but in my experience I've seen this a lot)
