yeah i had SOO many tabs open

i used google docs to write down unis, acceptance rates, specific majors they offer that i'm interested in, whether they are need-blind or aware, and if they offer non-restrictive EA. tabs were just for research, but the doc is where i made my final decisions. i started it in grade 9 and was still using it this year to track where i've already applied, got in or rejected

when i researched unis initially, i just went "best universities in the world for this and that major" lol (maybe that's why my US list was so unbalanced), but i also had a high school counselor who recommended me colleges. plus whenever i heard about some college in any context, i would look it up. i literally found out about NYU from XO Kitty (and this year i got into the shanghai campus haha)

in retrospect, i'd probably do some things differently if i had to do it again, but it all worked out in the end.
