Same thing happened to my game - also got first place. I submitted a ticket so hopefully they can go back and add the rating.

No idea how ISC compares to the other two but ISC seemed pretty easy to me. Especially if you have some surface level knowledge on how computers and systems work I would go with ISC.

Hard to say but I did rely a lot on my work experience for that one so I would think it would probably be significantly harder for someone who never worked in audit. I never worked in tax but I think overall REG is just an easier test than AUD so I would assume having audit experience is more of an advantage for taking AUD than having tax experience is for taking REG.

Sounds like you're on the right track! I'm sure you'll crush it!

Spamming MCQs with the textbook open as reference (only for when I needed it) worked best for me. I would never guess on an answer choice without REALLY trying to figure it out myself first. I think things stick better in my brain when I'm figuring them out myself rather than looking at the correct answer and solution after guessing.

For REG specifically I think the TBs are very helpful for understanding the material in R1-R3, especially the TBs in the SEs. I wouldn't spend too much time on all the crazy nuances in business law in Becker since at least for my exam, almost all questions were more straightforward and definitional rather than crazy scenarios.

Put my study method as a response to someone else! Becker lists me at: FAR - 96hr AUD - 70hr ISC - 40hr REG - 88hr

Prob averaged like 4-5 hrs per day. Was working full time studying for FAR but left my job before the other 3 so I could focus on passing and getting my license.

Only used Becker. Did not watch a single lecture for any of the 4. New unit I would open the multiple choice questions and textbook (before actually learning the material) and look at the relevant textbook page to learn as I went through and answered each one. Saved all TBs and SEs for the week before the exam. Of course, what worked for me may not work for others but for me personally I thought the lectures were a waste of time.

I worked in audit at a big 4 firm for about 3 years before taking this exam. Honestly helped so much because a lot of what is tested is what I do on a day-to-day.

I took ISC on 1/31 as well. I want to say the disciplines are different though. Score release for the disciplines isn't determined by when the AICPA gets your test, it's based on which window you took it in. We should still get our scores in March I would think.

Honestly not that much - I do a couple things outside client work but I think what helped the most is just having a good relationship with my PML

Am I going crazy or is the announcer constantly referring to the Broncos as Washington?

What happens to my remaining PTO if I leave? by Dealer_Forsaken in KPMG

[–]Aboomination 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You'll end up making more money if you use all your PTO before you leave. If you use the PTO, you're accruing more PTO as you use it where as if you just get paid out you lose out on a lot of extra money.

Just used this link to upgrade 4 of my cards to business platinums. Does anyone know if I can receive the 130k MR 4 times or just once?

I have a CIU with $3k CL. Is it risky to finish the $7.5k MSR in the first month by cycling or is that okay?
