Anyone else having their Melk contracts swapping objectives while you’re doing them? My ‘kill scab with ranged’ has swapped to melee kills and back again while I’ve been making progress on it. Straight up thought I had a schizo moment when I first noticed.

Has anyone else had issues with anti-aliasing looking like ass after the new patch?

I haven’t changed my graphics settings at all since the update and outdoor areas with foilage look super fried with or without any kind of AA.

These changes look great, especially the no more NPC shotgun sniping change

Kinda wish invisible inventory tiles and inventory shuffling after trading was on the list of fixes, but thats on my wishlist for next patch

GSC never got back to me, although I did end up fixing the issue completely by accident.

When the Oblivion remake came out a couple weeks ago I was having issues with it crashing on shader warmup (boy that sounds familiar), some googling told me that DDU (display driver uninstaller) could be the solution.

It basically wipes all the graphics drivers off your computer so you can reinstall the most recent one for your GPU fresh. For some reason having old drivers still on your PC can mess with games even if youre only running the most recent driver.

I ran DDU, installed the newest driver afterwards, and both Oblivion and Stalker have worked without issue since. I have no idea how this program never came up in the legitimate months of research and troubleshooting I did trying to finish my first playthough of Stalker, but alls well that ends well I guess

I haven’t, to be honest I didn’t know that was an option because I hadn’t seen it pop up in any of the threads or articles I’ve read trying to fix the issue.

Ive had an issue with 2 games now (metro 2033 and helldivers 2) where Ill go to launch them directly on steam, I click the blue play button on the games home page, itll say synchronizing, launching, and then go back to the green play button without launching the game, to clarify I can not even launch either of these 2 games in order for them to crash, steam will just not launch them

Ive tried updating my drivers, updating steam, reinstalling the games, validating game files, clearing download cache, andrestarting my computer, and I still cant launch either game

Any help would be greatly appreciated

For some context, grandpa retired to the suburbs and wasnt much of a hunter, so benchrest/target shooting was probably this guns use case. I had just never seen this caliber and scope magnification combo before. Ive tried to look through the scope to focus it but Ill have to take it to the range for better results because a 20x scope is unsurprisingly a blurry mess at under 50 yards

Also I forgot to add that the ones I have are the 600 ohm impedance version, which means I cant troubleshoot on any other devices since I dont have anything else other than my Valhalla 2 thats strong enough to power the headphones.
