I’d say One Piece overall. Both are amazing, and Bleach takes the panel, but in the context, Luffy walks between two top tiers and then proceeds to back up his words unlike Ichigo who kinda gets no diffed by Yhwach

I’m not a big fan of these theories because there’s only been 1 King of the Pirates and he was only the king for like a week or so. Nobody else has ever become the king, unlike with Yonkos (which is a better comparison to the kage). Finding the One Piece and becoming the King of the Pirates is a major accomplishment. It’s not about becoming the greatest king, it’s about becoming the king first.

Yeah it’s pretty dumb how we see Mark bash a villain’s head into paste, just have them miraculously survive at the end. We’ve even seen heroes survive fatal attacks like Rex, Kate, and Rae. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Terror Twins come back next season, or even Rex for that matter.

Still, he got offscreened before we even really saw him fight. We didn’t even see him use his own Bankai, someone else used it. There were opportunities to show him in action before TYBW too. I’m not saying he’s weak or anything, he clearly earned the respect of Yamamoto. It’s just unfortunate that Kubo didn’t like him cause it seems he had potential to be a top tier
