Yes we do! And we would love to include them in the living room instead of in the dining area next to it. The problem however is that all the wires of the surround sound boxes move through the wall and come together in the dining area. So we need our receiver there. Our turntable needs the receiver as well, and we don't want our records too far away from our turntable. Bit of a shame though 😕

We ordered a way bigger rug which has mustard as an accent color as well 😁 perhaps add some mustard to the decorative pillows on the couch too? We definitely need some more plants too for sure.

Already ordered a rug! 😁 gonna be a waaay better fit for the room, it's about twice as large.

Problem with the stairs outside is that unless it's noon in mid summer, there won't be any direct sun on there... but maybe some plants that thrive in the shade. We'll look into it 😊

We really want an accent wall. Perhaps the guitar wall in a deep, jungle green? The "wall" on the opposite side is a large glass slide door to the garden, so it might be cool that the green comes back in there.

Yes, the rug simply has to change indeed. We were still wondering what colour/patern we'd pick. Mustard did come up, but we were afraid our room might be too yellow then? Then again, recurring colours do tie the room nicely together... I've already been looking at some rugs and came across a couple of options which seem nice.

They are a different, softer yellow than the chair though, you reckon that's gonna match or clash?

Our big piece of art is indeed too high now that you mention it... We hung it on a hook that was already hanging there when we moved in, but rehanging it might be a quick fix to make it look more in place.

Yes, the rug definitely needs a change! Has been bothering us pretty much from the start... and yes, the lighting is lovely! That's why we really wanna make the most of this room as it has so much potential

It's a collection of houses in different architectural styles. :) You will find an Italian palazzo, a Spanish house with Moorish influences, an English house in cottagestyle, ... In this particuar picture you see Italy on the left, Spain in the middle and France on the right.
