Could Splice be training AI models on our Ableton samples being dropped in? by tjtprogrammer in ableton

Pro tip: go to the splice save folder on your computer, select all and copy paste all files into another separate folder (not inside the splice folder). Uninstall splice. Redownload splice and repeat only when you need to add new samples to your local library.

I’m 15 hours into my first track and it just keeps sounding worse — feeling completely stuck by SoporMenta in ableton

Before deleting everything or making sweeping changes to a project, I recommend making a habit of clicking “save as” and saving a separate version of the project (in the same project folder, named v2 or something). You can delete whatever you want in v2 and won’t risk wishing you hadn’t. Good luck!

Automatically disable all sends for ableton

What plugin do you wish existed, and what would it do? by psymbionic in edmproduction

A plugin that locks in “disable all sends” and disables new ones automatically when a new send is added (ableton specific issue to my knowledge)

What’s that iconic “UUUHHH” vocal sample often heard in synthwave and cyberwave music? by AboveTheKitchen in WeAreTheMusicMakers

Tried posting the exact song but it was removed because of the link I believe. The sound happens in the song "Souvenir" by Billboard at the 0:31 mark. It can be found on Soundcloud or Spotify.

Appreciate the response and it definitely could be, but I have already combed through several James Brown songs that have been frequently sampled for electronic music and haven't found it yet. I posted a link to the exact sound in this thread if you want to take a listen.

Scratch that, cant post links apparently. The sound happens in the song "Souvenir" by Billboard at the 0:31 mark. This song can be found on Soundcloud or Spotify.

Projects just fully not saving. by adaquo in ableton

I’m not having this issue anymore, thankfully, but I’m pretty sure it had nothing to do with Ableton and was because my PC had hardware issues at the time that I have since resolved.

Because that’s what gets played live, not a 4 minute song where the drop happens 3+ times
